Electro Adda was given the challenge to replace and enhance performance of a strategic drainage system in Italy. The motor driven pump will command the water level and avoid catastrophic disasters during the torrential rain – very common nowadays due to the climate change.
Our team paid a survey on site to inspect existing wound rotor unit and collect all measurements to guarantee the same mechanical interface.
Then new solution is a large FA630-20 ODP IP23 – mass 8.1 Tons – variable speed motor with non-symmetrical forced cooling. The motor will be inverter driven and capable to adapt the pump speed to the requirements with superior efficiency levels.
Electro Adda processed the project (2off motors) in house: engineering, procurement and manufacturing activities are performed by our team with goal to meet and exceed the spec and reach delivery date.
The picture shows a satisfied team: Mariangela (procurement), Mirco (mechanical engineering), Igor (electrical engineering), Stefano (quality control) Daniele (testing) and Maurizio (manufacturing) was not available yet worth to mention. Only through such joint efforts such results can be achieved!
