Based on vessel operational environments, this specific vessel design conditions widely exceed Classification Society designed temperatures. Very warm water and hot ambient temperatures were both taken into account to select proper design and materials for the motor.
Special lubricant and sealing systems haven been selected as well suitable insulating materials so that both bearings and windings can reliably operate.
As always – testing is part of the approval protocol and performed with success in Electro Adda Laboratory.
