Vertical thruster play an essential role to propel, command and position vessel or platforms: to do that the motor must be capable to operate at low speed so to create required torque in all operating modes.
Forced cooling will allow operation at high torque/power but low rpm.
The picture shows ¼ units rated 735kW in the test bay ready for class inspection.
Fully engineered and made in Italy 🇮🇹 .
