MR line motors frame size 132÷400 are totally enclosed, with natural ventilation, with squirrel cage rotor and are suitable for driving rollers for rolling mills in the iron industry. These motors are designed to meet the needs of this type of duty having extremely severe electrical, mechanical and environmental requirements. In particular, motors for this application are submitted to extremely variable loads with high overload torques and require to reverse motion in very short times.
MR line motors are designed to be supplied by inverter.
