The asynchronous three-phase motors frame size 280÷560 described in this catalogue are designed in order to consider the different requirements of industries in the field of low voltage applications, in the range of outputs included within 150 and 2000 kW. This new series of asynchronous motors has been designed in order to be flexible , to have a modular structure and is characterized in order to have a rectangular frontal section. This solution has been adopted because it allows, having the same output, to reduce the machine frame size and to contain the overall dimensions.
